A True Link Visa Card can have a temporary block placed on the card for a few reasons:
- The cardholder enters an incorrect PIN too many times in a row
- They attempt to make a purchase with the same merchant too quickly several times in a row
- Our system detects a possible fraudulent transaction
In any of these scenarios, the cardholder is prevented from using the card until the block is lifted. This isn't something they can lift themselves, and will need to either work with their card administrator, or our team, to lift the block.
If a cardholder confirms they attempted all of their recent card transactions, you can easily lift the block for them. To do so, navigate to the cardholder’s dashboard, and from the red banner, click the “click here” link as shown below.
Once clicked, the Card will be reactivated and can be used for purchases immediately.
