To help secure your True Link account, we have enabled two-step verification, which can be managed within your account profile. With two-step verification, your account has an extra layer of security by requiring the entry of a one-time verification code (sent to either the mobile number or email address associated with your account), in addition to your account password, when you log in.
1. To update the two-step verification code delivery method, first log in to the True Link website, and navigate to the Profile section of your account.
2. Your two-step verification method will default to email. If you'd prefer to receive the code via SMS, ensure that you have added your mobile phone number to your account by clicking "Add phone number"
3. Once you've added your phone number, click "Switch" to change the delivery method:
4. A pop-up window will appear asking you to enter the verification code sent to your email.
5. Check your email to find your verification code. Enter the code in the pop-up window and click "Continue." If you do not receive your code, please wait at least one minute before clicking the “Resend code.” button.
6. You will then need to confirm the verification code sent to the phone number on file. Hit the green "Continue" button.
7. Check your text messages to find your verification code. Enter the code in the pop-up window and click "Verify." If you do not receive your code, please wait at least one minute before clicking the “Resend code.” button.
8. You will now see the Two-step verification method set to SMS!
