If a True Link Visa® Prepaid Card becomes damaged or inoperable, you can order a replacement Card in such a way that the current Card remains open while the replacement Card is in transit. Once the new Card arrives and is activated, any funds remaining on the old Card will be transferred to the new Card, and the cardholder will be able to make purchases.
While the replacement Card is in transit, the current Card may still be used to make purchases using the information on the card for online purchases if the Card is unreadable to POS machines.
- Open the Card Dashboard for the cardholder who needs a replacement Card. For steps on how to access the Card Dashboard, please review this article.
- Go to the “Account” tab.
- Select “Order replacement.”
- A pop-up window will appear asking you to tell us about your situation. Select "The Card has been damaged."
- Select the shipping address for the new Card and the desired shipping method. You may be asked to confirm the cardholder's country of citizenship.
- After choosing your selections, click “Submit request," and your order will be placed!
